PRAYER OF ST. FRANCIS

Lord, make me an instrument of your peace.

Where there is hatred, let me sow love. Where there is injury, pardon. Where there is discord, unity. Where there is doubt, faith. Where there is error, truth. Where there is despair, hope. Where there is sadness, joy. Where there is darkness, light.

Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek,

To be consoled as to console. To be understood as to understand. To be loved as to love. For it is in giving that we receive. It is in pardoning that we are pardoned. It is in dying that we are born to eternal life.

PRAYER TO OUR LADY

Remember, O most loving Virgin Mary, that never was

it known that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your help,

or sought your intercession was left unaided. Inspired with this

confidence, we turn to you, O Virgins of virgins, our Mother. To you

we come, before you we stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word

Incarnate, do not despise our petitions, but in your mercy hear us

and answer us. Amen.

Prayer to Saint Michael the Archangel

Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in the hour of battle: be our safeguard against the wickedness and the Snares of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray, and do thou, O Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God, Cast into Hell, Satan and all the Other evil spirits, who roam through the world, seeking the ruin of Souls. AMEN

Prayer of Saint Teresa of Lisieux

Jesus, Who in thy bitter passion didst become the "the reproach of men and the Man of Sorrow" , I venerate thy Holy Face on Which Shone the beuty and gentleness of Divinity. In those disfigured features I recognize thine infinite love, and I long to love thee and to make thee loved . .

May I behold thy Glorious Face in Heaven !

PRAYER to ST. ANTHONY

Oh Holy St. Anthony, gentlest of Saints, your love for God and Charity for His creatures, made you worthy, when on earth, to possess miraculous powers. Miracles waited on your word, which you were ever ready to speak for those in trouble or anxiety.

Encouraged by this thought, I implore of you to obtain my request of ......... . The answer to my prayer may require a miracle, even so, you are the Saint of Miracles.

O gentle and loving St. Anthony, whose heart was ever full of human sympathy, whisper my petition into the ears of the Sweet Infant Jesus, who loved to be folded in your arms; and the gratitude of my heart will be ever yours.

St. Gabriel Prayer

O God, who from among all your angels chose the Archangel Gabriel to announce the mystery of the Incarnation, mercifully grant that we who solemnly remember him on earth may feel the benefit of his patronage in heaven, who lives and reigns for ever and ever.

Amen.

St. Raphael Prayer

O God, send the Archangel Raphael to our assistance. May he who stands forever prasing you at your throne present our humble petitions to be blessed by you. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Prayer of St. Thomas Aquinas

Creator of all things, true source of light and wisdom, lofty origin of all being, graciously let a ray of your brilliance penetrate into the darkness of my understanding and take from me the double darkness in which I have been born, an obscurity of both sin and ignorance. Give me a sharp sense of understanding, a retentive memory, and the ability to grasp things correctly and fundamentally. Grant me the talent of being exact in my explanations, and the ability to express myself with thoroughness and charm. Point out the beginning, direct the progress, and help in completion; through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Prayers to Saint Pius V

Ant: Pius, admirable Shepherd, ever mindful of thy sheep, before the highest Judge do thou intercede for all believers.

Let us pray:

O God, who in order to crush them that hate Thy Church and to restore Thy solemn worship, didst vouchsafe to choose Blessed Pius to be Thy great High Priest; grant us to be secure under his protection and so to continue in Thy service, that, having overcome all the wiles of our adversaries, we may enjoy a perpetual peace. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Our Father. Hail Mary. Glory be. + Indulgence of 300 days.

Prayer To St. Magdalene, Penitent

" May we be assisted, O Lord, we beseech Thee, by the intercession of blessed Mary Magdalen for whom, moved by her prayers, Thou didst bring back her brother Lazarus, then dead for four days, alive from the grave. Who Livest and reignest.."

PRAYER OF ST. AMBROSE

Lord, teach me to seek Thee, and reveal Thyself to me when I seek Thee. For I cannot seek Thee unless Thou teach me, nor find Thee except Thou reveal Thyself. Let me seek Thee in longing, let me long for Thee in seeking. Let me find Thee in love, and love Thee in finding. Amen.

PRAYER TO ST. JOSEPH

O St. Joseph, whose protection is so great, so strong, so prompt before the Throne of God, I place in you all my interests and desires. O St. Joseph, do assist me by your powerful intercession and obtain for me from your Divine Son all spiritual blessings through Jesus Christ, Our Lord; so that having engaged here below your Heavenly power I may offer my thanksgiving and homage to the loving of fathers. O St. Joseph, I never weary contemplating you and Jesus asleep in your arms. I dare not approach while He reposes near your heart. Press Him in my name and kiss His fine Head for me, and ask Him to return the kiss when I draw my dying breath. St. Joseph, patron of departing souls, pray for us. Amen.

PRAYER OF ST. THOMAS MORE

Give me the grace to long for Your holy sacraments, and especially to rejoice in the presence of Your body, sweet Savior Christ, in the holy sacrament of the altar. Amen.
